Dreams

I dreamt that I was standing in a line of people along a path that wound through rolling hills. It was quite beautiful. It was like I could just open my eyes for a minute and see everyone standing, completely motionless. Everyone was evenly spaced apart, maybe 3 or 4 people side by side, and rows like this in front of each other as far as I could see. I couldn't move though.

Then my dream would flash back to the 'real world.' I'd be walking around, talking to people, etc. I was walking along mountain roads, where I would pass people on their hands and knees digging in the dirt. At one point, someone looked up at me while I was passing and held out his hand. I took it and held it briefly as I kept walking.

Later on in the dream, I was at the local establishment, somewhere I go while I'm awake, Alibi. Only it was nothing like Alibi. Alibi is a bar that is a series of different separate areas and bars. In my dream, it was one giant room, with a large circular stage in the middle. Everyone was crowding around the stage as if to watch a live performance. I made my way up to the stage, but on the stage was a giant metal orb. Maybe it was a speaker, maybe something else, but it looked so cool, and everyone loved it.

Then I was leaving the bar and someone approached me. He told me his name was Kevin and that we had met before. He was the person whose hand I had taken while walking along the road. It was snowing through the air, and the parking lot was covered in a thin sheet of ice. I ran and slid along the ice. Kevin and I kept talking.

Throughout the dream, I kept flashing back to being on the path. I wished that I could make my brain tell my body to move. To reach out and grab someone else, so that they could open their eyes too and realize that they were really here, along this strange, serene path, and that everyone else was here too. I couldn't. We all just continued being oblivious as to where we really were.

Several times throught my teen-age years I had dreams where I was falling from incredible heights (such as a cliff of the Grand Canyon). As I was falling in horror, I cried out "GOD!!" And suddlenly I was lifted, flying in the sky.

I've been having super weird dreams lately, and suprisingly my father is in a lot of them. Last night I dreamt I was with a bunch of people on this houseboat, and we weren't supposed to leave, but Teri Hatcher was my mom and said that I could take a little dinghy boat so me and my dream boyfriend could go see a movie. Except, I had a slutty twin sister (apparently I was a blonde) and she somehow followed us and watched me and dream boy make out hardcore in the theatre, and then suddenly we were back at the houseboat and my dad was making sandwiches. We tried to bypass him, but he was all, be careful with my daughter, which I am sure my dad would never say, and then we went to a bedroom and commenced pre-coital activities, but then my slutty sister popped up from under the blankets with no panties and was shaking her vag around like it was some dance move, and my boyfriend was all, hey, look at that, and I pulled some super sweet street fighter moves and told her that I didn't wanna take her out, but I would if I had to. That was only one part. After I woke up, I laid there and thought about all this shit that my mind makes up, and I wondered why my dad is in all these dreams, and then I said to myself, quit being so fucking emo.

I dreamt last night of finding my car with all four windows broken out. It was so frustrating, as, in real life, I have just gone through the process of replacing one of them.

I went to a store with my friend, Shane. There was no one in the store, no employees working. So, the two of us were like, ooh, let's steal things. Looking around, we really didn't find anything we wanted. It was some kind of craft and gardening store.

Apparently they also had pets. Shane bought a fish, and then left. I was walking out with him and then realized we would need a fish tank.

So I turned around and walked back in the store. There was absolutely no one in the store. For some reason there was a Christmas tree being set up by someone. There was a ladder next to the tree, and the tree had lots of buckets hanging in it.

I was looking for a fishtank. I found one on a high shelf. I was standing on a ladder. The only problem was, what I wanted wasn't at the front of the shelf. It was in the back, which was far enough back from me that I had to crawl in to grab it.

After that, I managed to escape out the window. I ran to the car and got in. Shane was in the drivers seat waiting. I was like, GO GO GO! So we drove away...

So, I dreamt that I was in a large house, much like the one I'm living in. It was under construction, also like my house. I was trying to place the dryer in the laundry room. Keep in mind it was not the size of a dryer, nor was it heavy. So I was just carrying this thing around. I wanted to place it up against the wall where it should go, but there was no wall.

The floor boards were placed several inches apart from each other, so you could see the ground beneath. The ground was very far down though. I immediately realized that I was balancing myself and the dryer on the edge of the unfinished floor, where there was no wall, looking down a good 3 stories.

Elsewhere in the dream, I was at some sort of party, with lots of anonymous people. I knew who they were, but don't remember specifically if they were actually people I know. I don't know what type of occassion it was, but there were presents, for everyone, not just me. ;)

At the end of the dream, I was standing outside, people were milling about, maybe leaving the party. I saw a shadow pass over the moon. It happened rapidly, and a couple times. Then I woke up...
