On Monday night, I told Shane that I would drive if he wanted to go out. I didn't have money to spend at the bar, nor did I really feel like having anything to drink, so it was fine by me. I really just wanted to get out and do something.
Shane didn't have too much money either, but he agreed that we should go out. Robert and Jimmy met us at the house and we followed them to Alibi. It was pretty dead, considering it was the day before a holiday. But what can you really expect on a Monday night. All of us ended up going back to Jimmy's around 12:30 and hanging out for a while. It was a lot of fun.
On Independence day, I actually didn't do much at all other than cleaning and a little bit of laundry. In the evening, Joe came over and we went to watch fireworks down by the pier. We parked pretty far away and walked down and sat on the beach. Unfortunately, by the time we actually sat down, the fireworks were almost over. Neither of us were really that into the fireworks anyways, it was just something to do.
We went back to my house and watched Billy Elliott, which I own, but had never watched before. It was a pretty good movie.
