Here I Am

I had a really wierd dream last night that my sister and I had rooms that had an adjoining wall. We used to share a room that had the same heat vent. So, in the dream, my sister was raising chickens in her room, or keeping them as pets. One came through the vent and was poking around my room.

It totally had evil, glowing eyes like it was possessed. My sister yelled from her room that all of their food was in her room and they wouldn't be able to eat over here. Then, later in the dream, this girl, who wasn't my sister, grabbed one of the birds, twisted its neck around her hand into some sort of weopon and wanted to fight me. I told her I wouldn't fight because that was animal cruelty. That was pretty much the dream, just thought I should share.

So, today I feel much better. I went to sleep at about 10:30 last night. Justin had text messaged me telling me to come out to Grand Central for a drink. I would not have made it. Though I kinda wanted to hang out with him.

I'm battling a bit of melancholy today, though it could just be the wicked hangover that I woke up with.

Last night, Kevin came over to chill for a bit. We hung out and listened to music and smoked. Then there was a knock on my door. It was Felix. Felix hasn't been home since October 2004, so it was a big surprise. I knew he was coming, just not the exact time, and he totally caught me off guard, and pretty stoned. lol

Felix was pretty much overwhelmed by the construction. What a time to come visit swaying palms on vacation...

So, I haven't posted in almost a week. It's been a long week though. I've been super busy, and my high stress level has been maintained throughout.

So, to begin with, everything went fine with my Mom. She is back at home now and doing as well as can be expected. I was able to speak to her doctor who was very friendly and helpful.

On Thursday, I was supposed to go to Alibi to hang out with this guy, Charlie. He had called me several times, and I told him I was going. Walt came over and we watched part of 'Domino', which seemed like a pretty good movie. He left to go home and get ready. He was going to meet me out at Alibi. I laid down to relax for about an hour or so. I ended up falling asleep until after 2.

I woke up around 2 and called Walt and Charlie. I felt pretty bad, cuz I really did want to go. So, on Friday morning,  I woke up around 8:30 and tried to call in, but my phone didn't get a signal, so I jumped online and emailed work.
