Literally, I am the entire choir, and you are preaching to me.
So, it's Friday, thank goodness. This week went by really fast, actually. I didn't go anywhere or do much of anything after work on Wednesday and Thursday. On Wednesday, I cleaned out my closet, which was really dusty, and kind of made me allergenic. So I was sneezing a lot yesterday. I had to call the pharmacy and get them to refill my Allegra prescription. I can pick that up today, yay. I also wanted to talk to my doctor and have him put me on Zyban, so I can quit smoking.
So, I have continued talking to the guy I mentioned in my last post, he wanted to come over on my lunch break today. Hmmm... Very tempting, yes... But I said no. We'll see what happens with this.
So, I got a new office today. Actually, I traded with someone else. Kind of out of the blue, my boss said that we were gonna switch. So we did, and it worked out pretty easily. I have all the same stuff, except for the furniture. Now I have a table and a small desk, rather than just a large desk for all my stuff. My new office is on the West side of the building, rather than the north, and I also have a nice view of the lake and Tropicana Field. Before I could see the Coliseum, the roof of this building's first floor, and the parking lot. So I'm enjoying the change. It's also in a more active part of the office. More going on, people talking, walking by. I'll have to post some pictures of my view later on.
(More)So, yes, I realize what time it is. I came home from work today, showered, laid down, and passed out until about 2AM. So now I'm wide awake...
Last Thursday, I went out, which was the first time in weeks that I had been to Alibi on a Thursday. I had a wretched time. I was tired and stoned, and just kind of over it in general... Jiganesh was all excited cuz this guy, Mark was gonna be there. When I realized who it was, I was like, Oh God.
That boy got on my nerves so bad all night. He had once tried to hook up with both Joe and I in the same night... Yeah, he's trashy... And not at all cute...
Headlines today seem particularly grim...
Hurricane Wilma
Bird Flu
Mother Tosses 3 Children into San Francisco Bay
South Asian Quake
US Troops Burn Taliban Bodies
US Plans Invasion of Venezuela

Hipster girl: Oh, I'm not saying love doesn't exist...just that I'm not going to ever have any, so why shouldn't I just settle for money and sex?

"OK, so let's just walk through this," Barber said. "Captain Kennedy, you answer the first question and you hand the mike to whom?"
"Captain Smith," Kennedy said.
"Captain. Smith? You take the mike and you hand it to whom?" she asked.
"Captain Kennedy," the soldier replied.
And so it went.
"If the question comes up about partnering — how often do we train with the Iraqi military — who does he go to?" Barber asked.
"That's going to go to Captain Pratt," one of the soldiers said.
"And then if we're going to talk a little bit about the folks in Tikrit — the hometown — and how they're handling the political process, who are we going to give that to?" she asked.
